Abstract

Ferenc Raffay’s academic work was characterized by a comprehensive and extremely progressive approach. Among his writings, his work entitled Magyar Magánjog Kézikönyve [Handbook of Hungarian Private Law] deserves special mention, the first volume of which contained his ideas on personal rights. In this study, we analyse the place and challenges of personality rights in current civil law, following the lines of these ideas.
