In a rapidly evolving landscape where online platforms and social media become the main forums to freedom of expression, jurisprudence before national courts deals with increasing caseloads where two personality rights concur (freedom of expression and the right to dignity). Therefore, a unity approach in interpretation and application in Romanian jurisprudence is a strategic objective, shaped under the auspices of the case-law of the European Court of Human Rights so as to avoid future condemning judgements.
