Abstract

In this study, the author provides a detailed description of the crime of violation of privacy, which was first regulated in Romanian criminal law in 2014. The author analyses the crime in a classic way, presents its object, subject, objective and subjective side, and, finally, the special cases that exclude the crime’s unlawful nature. Despite the fact that the crime is considered relatively “new”, the study contains numerous literature references.
