Abstract

The study presents labour law and social law protection mechanisms applicable to single-parent families, based on Romanian regulations and comparative analysis. In order to ensure a comprehensive analysis, we first outline the legal interpretation of the concept of single-parent families based on Romanian legislation, followed by a detailed presentation of the specific instruments that serve to promote the employment of parents and support them with social benefits.
