Abstract

The occasion for this short essay is the 100th anniversary of the adoption of the 1923 Romanian Constitution. It aims to introduce, contextualize, and stimulate interest in the two studies published in the journal. The intention of the analysis is to identify what was problematic in the 1923 constitution-making process and why, apart from the current constitution, this basic law can be considered the ”best” Romanian constitution.
