Intellectual Shavings from the Discipline of Possession Law

Abstract

Possession is a framework institution of rights in rem, just like services in the law of obligations. Possession is not a simple fact, and the legal consequences associated with property enhance this legal institution. The study highlights some examples that generate significant issues of rights in rem even nowadays. For this analysis, we call upon the scientific results of old private law and newer civil law, primarily recalling the work of the former professor of the Prešov Law Academy, Ferenc Raffay.
